    You can use webcam at home through two possible ways, one is through e-mail and the other is through instant messaging programs.

   
   

   If you wish to use a webcam with email, you will first have to launch the software accompanying the camera. In order to initiate the video message, you will have to press start or record. You can send your video message by simply clicking the email or  send option, this will automatically open up default email program. The attachment will be bigger depending on the size of the recorded message. Therefore before sending any recorded message, make sure the recipient's computer has the ability to handle the size
