How long does it take for Canada Post tracking to update?

I want to check the status of post I sent 24 hours back, but it's not updated on Canada post tracking yet. Its my first time using Canada post… so want to know that how long will take for tracking to update?

    Some time it might be delayed between when they scan your item and when you receive the tracking information. This is especially common in rural locations or when information is provided by foreign Post Offices.It would be updated soon have little paitence.
