Is there anyone who knows that how long it took for completion of Minar-e-Pakistan? Someone please tell me about this.

Minar-e-Pakistan is a tall minaret in Iqbal Park Lahore, constructed in commemoration of the Pakistan Resolution. The minaret reflects a combine of Mughal and modern architecture. It is constructed on the location where the Muslim League passed the Pakistan Resolution on March 23, 1940, seven years before the independence of Pakistan. The construction Minar-e-Pakistan started on March 23, 1960. It took 8 years to complete at an estimated cost of Rs. 500,000. The Minar was completed on 31 October 1968
