I have recently bought a car for myself so not quite aware about so many things. As I have to replace fan belt of my and I do not want to spend bucks on this small piece of work so someone kindly tell me about changing it.

This will not take you a long time so as to change fan belt of your car. However, you would require putting in some physical effort in order to do this. When you look at the fan belt, you will see that it is mounted on two pulleys with one being of the generator and the other of the engine. If you reduce the tension in the belt this will loosen up the grip and you can pull off the old fan belt easily. This can be done by using an iron rod that gently pushes the generator inwards. Once you have taken out the old fan belt, place the new one again by pushing the generator inside and sliding the fan belt on the two pulleys.
