If you’d prefer to disable the custom error handling feature in Alexa toolbar, you can always selectively preserve just the toolbar functionality you want while disabling what you don’t want by setting the toolbar options. Here’s how: 1. Click on the down arrow next to the Alexa logo and select Options. (Toolbar for IE only). 2. Right-click on Sparky in the status bar and select Options. (Sparky only). 3. Select Tools -> Add-ons to open the Add-ons window. In the Add-ons window, click on the plugin name ("Alexa Sparky" in the case of Sparky; "Alexa Toolbar" in the case of the Toolbar), and then click on Options. (both Sparky and the Toolbar for Firefox)
