I am fed of all the typical channels that my cable service is offering from the last 12 years. I have to pay for those channels every month which I hardly ever see. I have heard that it is possible to make your digital TV catch other channels for which you have to pay to the cable operator and for free. Hence I would like to know if there is a way of improving you TV signal strength.

If you wish to have more channels on your TV without the services of a cable network, you just need to have a high definition TV set with a fitted HDTV tuner and an off-air HDTV antenna. However, if you wish to improve your TV signal strength, you just need to do a few things. First of all, replace the old cable pins with new ones by cutting the cable using wire cutters. Besides, reposition the TV antenna by mounting it atleast 30 to 40 feet in the air. Replace the old in-door antenna with a bigger out-door antenna and add a signal booster to your set-top antenna. Adjust the cable length as it should only be enough to reach your TV from the antenna since the longer a signal travels to meet the TV, the weaker it makes the signal.
