I have been living in U.S since about a year now. I often have to write e-mail messages to my parents and some of my relatives who are not able to read English all that well. There are so many things which are not properly communicated and often result in creation of misconceptions. I do not happen to be a computer expert so I do not know about writing different languages using English alphabets on the keyboard. Hence I would like to know about typing Urdu on my computer while writing e-mail messages.

Writing Urdu or any other language using the conventional computer keyboard is not a problem anymore. You can use the computer keyboard by writing words and alphabets of Urdu quite easily. All what you need is to understand that which English alphabets or keys you need to press for typing a certain word or letter in Urdu.
