This error mostly occurs during restoration phase. Don’t be worry about that. It is fairly a very common error which almost every iPhone user faces during restoration. Its solution is very easy and for that you don’t have to be nerd, geek, tech savvy or computer programmer. There is no rocket science required for that. All you need is common sense. It mostly occurs, when you're updating or restoring your iPhone. It prevents iTunes from proceeding and usually comes up when the user clicks on "Restore" or shortly after the restore process has been initiated. Its solution is very simple:

    1) Connect your iPhone to your PC and start iTunes.

    2) Click on "Restore" button while simultaneously pressing the "Alt" or "Option" key depending upon    your Pc type. By doing this, a dialog box will open from where you can select a specific firmware file for the phone to revert during the restore procedure.

    3) Click "Open”, always attempt to restore from a backup file that precedes your most recent.

    4) You may need to re-sync info such as contacts, phone numbers  and notes from iTunes to your iPhone again to get the device back up to date.
