Every time I come back to the quarter where I live for some rest during the day I am always teased by the birds that keep banging at the roof. I love to have nap during the day particularly in winter but it has not been the case eversince I am in this area. Anyone kindly tell me how to stop birds banging on the roof tops.

There are a couple of ways to stops birds banging on the roof. One simple way is placing a brightly colored stuffed toy on the roof as the birds are often frightened by the size of the stuffed toy and by the bright colors. Besides, you can spread a sticky or tacky bird repellent, available at home improvement stores but it is better to first test a small amount of the repellent on an inconspicuous spot before using applying it all over the roof.
