"Follow below mentioned elements when you are going to write a lab report to ensure a quality report.

    • Select a unique title for the lab report. The title should be compact and precise. It should provide the reader a clear idea what your experiment is about.

    • Write an abstract for your lab report. Mainly, abstract will sum up the content of every section in your lab report in one or two sentences. On the abstract section of a lab report, there are commonly length limitations. It is very rare case when an abstract go lengthy than 200 words.

    • Write an introduction for your lab report. The introduction contains the idea, what is already familiar about the lab, the goals of the lab and the hypothesis. One or two paragraphs are commonly enough to define each of these concepts to your reader.

    • Illustrate the processes which are used during the whole experiment. The section where methods are mentioned should be as precise as possible. Specify the accurate calculations, apparatus and methods so the experiment and its results can be replicated by the reader.

    • Write the complete output of your experiment. The output section instantaneously describes the analysis of your research as comprehensively and precisely as possible. This section commonly holds visual facts like tables or graphs, to assist in understanding the data.

    • Mention that the result proves or do not prove the basic hypothesis of the experiment. The section of discussion contains relevant information as evidence. Here other factors has also been discussed that may have their role in the results as well as how the lab can be improved in the future.

    • State the conclusion of your experiment in a way that conclusively shows what you have study from the experiment.

    • Include a section named as References and quote all references used in the lab like textbooks and lab manuals. Use the writing style demanded by your instructor."
