   The second paragraph possesses all the relevant information regarding the person you are writing about, which shows why he is eligible, what he can present, and why you are giving a reference letter. If necessary, use more than one paragraph to mention the details.
   
   Third Paragraph:
   
   When writing a letter referring a person for a specific job opening, the reference letter will contain information on how the candidate’s skills match the post they are applying for. Ask for a copy of the job posting and a copy of the person's resume so you can target your reference letter accordingly."
