I am currently working with an organization as a content writer. Now I need to switch my job to some other well reputed firm, for this I need to resign from my present firm. Please tell me how to write a letter of resignation?

     "Importance of the letter of resignation

    The letter of resignation is very significant regardless to your thought. Never forget that there can be a chance for one will work again with the same people because the world is very small. Therefore, you must say goodbye to your current colleagues in good manner.

    All you need to take few minutes to write a good letter of resignation.

    What to Include in Your Resignation Letter:

    • Mention the reason of your leaving the job and the date when your resignation will be effective.

    • Pay your special regards to your employer for the opportunities you have been provided during your employment.

    It's usually better to resign face-to-face and then pursue with a formal resignation letter. However, if you want to send a resignation email, write it in a very professional way as you would write a resignation on paper.

    Regardless the reason of your resignation or how are you feeling about it, if you write why you are quitting from  this job, keep this thing in your mind that you do not mention anything negative or abuse for the company, manager, your colleagues, or your subordinates.
