I'm having trouble linking my AdWords and Analytics accounts, what to do?

I have recently setup my adword account and now I need to link it with the analytics account but it is not as easy for me as they say it is. I need to know why I cannot link them

    There are several reasons why you may be seeing an error message when attempting to link your accounts. two most common issues include:
    • You must be an Admin on the Analytics account to create the link. If you're not an Admin, you'll need to request that someone with Admin access create the link
    • Or if the Analytics account you would like to link to linked to a different AdWords account
