   To be completely honest, the answer to this question comes down to what those people ultimately mean to you and your life. If you can realistically see yourself living without those closest to you, the decision you have to make may be easier. If however, you cannot imagine yourself without your wife and kids, there is a good chance you could be having a bad day or are simply not a happy person.

   
   

   I am not judging, but it there is no way that a person who is happy with themselves can suddenly feel nothing for their spouse and children. If this was not gradual, what has caused it and how can it be changed. I think you should focus on loving yourself and understanding what it is that makes you feel this way. If you feel disrespected and ignored, take a step back and analyse what is being said in an argument. The world is like an echo…you will often get back what you put out.
