    First and foremost, I am sorry to hear about your broken heart. When people who care for each other part ways there is always residual emotion and damage that is felt for sometime after the relationship is over. If you are broken hearted, the most important thing for you to do is recover and get right with yourself before embarking on another relationship. 

   
   

   Some may suggest you getting back out in the dating game ASAP, however doing this while still not over someone will only complicate your feelings or end up hurting someone who may begin caring for you. It is important that you recover fully and completely, realizing that the heartbreak was meant to be and learning from the experience. Once you have healed, you will be ready to open your heart again. It is difficult to love others and be open to love if you do not love yourself. Take care and good luck.
