Please have a look on a very quick and simple recipe below for your dinner tonight: Hobo Dinners Ingredients • Hamburger meat (ground beef) how much depends on how many you're cooking for. • Potatoes - one per person if small, or 1/2 per person if big • Onion slices - 1 to two slices per person/packet • Seasoning - I prefer to use Lawry's Seasoning Salt, garlic powder, and McCormicks Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning, but you can use whatever you have handy. • Pat of butter • Heavy Foil Directions • Pre-heat oven to 375 • Make hamburger patties in the size of your own choice. We recommend 1/2 pound patties for more of a hamburger steak. Coat the patty generously with garlic powder, seasoning salt and grill mates. • Put each seasoned hamburger patty in the center of its own piece of foil (approximately 15 inches or so) • Then put your onion slices on top of the hamburger patty. • At the end place potato pieces (wedges or rounds) on top of onion. I like to spread a little more seasoning salt on the pieces of potato. You may have to fold the foil sides up already to keep your potatoes on top. Add your pat of butter on the potatoes. Then bring foil together over the top of it all and seal tight. It should look kind of like a hobo bag that could be tied to a stick. • Place the foil packets directly on wire racks inside of your oven and cook for 1 hour. This is fantastic and so easy to cook recipe with zero cleanup.
