I want to get into philosophy, any recommendations on philosophers I should read up on?

   If you want to get into reality philosophy the obvious choices of philosophers to follow are Aristotle and Plato. Frege and Russell are also very interesting in their views. Frege and Russell were both mathematicians and philosophers and helped develop analytical philosophy during the 20^th century. Reality philosophy deals with what actually exists. In Europe and North America this type of thinking deals with the nature of reality and the relationship between the mind and reality.

   It depends on what type of philosphy you would want to get into. Philosophy mainly covers reality, existance, evolution, language, reason, knowledge, values, and the mind.
