My wife of 5 years volintarialy left the country (US). After we learned that the documentation she had was fake. She entered the US in 1994 with the entintion to marry her then boyfriend and father of her unborn child. He (the boyfriend) hired a lawyer and filed papers for both himself and my wife. When the documents were completed he had her sign them and he returned them to the lawyer. She was denied and given volintary deportation. Howwever she had just given birth to her son and she was given a work permit, so she began to work. At her work she showed herself a valuable employee quickly became management and the company offered to help her obtain US citizenship . She provided them with a picture and a copy of her fingerprints, in turn they gave her a greencard and told her she was all set. She continued working and eventualy we met and married. when her green card was about to expire we began looking into geting her US citizenship through our marriage and learned that the Green card she had was not legal and that there was n documentation to support it filed with USCIS. This past wek My wife had an interview at the US embassy in Tegucialpa Honduras for a turist VIsa where she was informed that due to her overstaying in the US she would be bared for 10 years unless she could obtain a pardon. do you have any suguestions??
