heard about the e-tron is it the Hybrid version of Audi?just like Mercedez and BMW have produced blue efficiency and i? wanted to have a clue when will this brand be in production and what are the products?

e-tron family is the series of Hybrid concept cars manufactured by Audi, the second e-tron concept car, shown in 2010 in Detroit, provides a preview of a future mid-engined Audi sports car production model to be launched in 2012, possibly to be named Audi R4 or Audi R5, which may be available in both electric and internally combusted engines.Audi officials have said that this car is still in concept, much of its performance specifications is still under process. The car will have four electric motors, one per wheel. Together, these motors will produce ~3,320 pound-feet of torque. Top speed for the e-tron is limited to 124 miles per hour, and will be able to travel 150 miles on full charge. The e-tron also is equipped with such a technology that will be able to communicates with other cars and road signs.
