I have seen the video and it looks totally legitimate, but my friend at school told me it is a fake. Anyone know the truth?

     Although this video has become a viral hit and YouTube monster, it is indeed a fake. The video was concocted in a genius ploy by late night celebrity Jimmy Kimmel, who admitted to his creation. He did so by having the young lady on the show and airing an extended clip that shows him coming in on the scene and extinguishing the fire. He later revealed that the hoax was set up by his show and that the girl in the video was a stuntwoman named Daphne.
