    "Steroid use has become very famous as a way to make attractive one's appearance. While steroids are productive at building muscle mass, reducing body fat, advancing athletic performance, and lessening recovery time after a wound, they are available with a cost to one's health, in both the short- and long-time.
   
   When a man begins taking steroids, his body starts to make less testosterone and sperm. This can lead to an eventual shrinking of the testes. Depending on how long somebody takes steroids, these consequences can be reversed or they can make permanent damage. Other consequences of steroids that can be noticed early are acne, high hair growth and loss, increased emotional volatility (i.e., high aggression, aggression, fast mood swings), breast enlargement (in men), declined s*x drive, expanded fluid retention, impairment to the immune system, and masculinization and irregular menstruation (in women). Long-term and/or high-dose use of anabolic steroids can lead to impotence, liver damage, and increased risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, and cancer."
