Question:

Jenn Air Model A122 radiant cook top doesn't work.

At first taking the cartridge out and re-seating it would allow it to work  Now it is totally inoperable and one of the sockets in the plug block is a little charred.  Moving the cartridge around in the plug bring intermittant on/off results.  Can just the block be replaced, or is it a bigger job?

    Yes you can replace the cartridge only for less than $200.  Just search for A122 on the internet and you'll find plenty of suppliers.  I like www.prosupplyco.com.
