Jon Stewart interviewed Gov. Blagojevich on his 'Daily Show' programme this week, a man who he has constantly made fun of on the show for years. The 'Richard Jewell of Illinois' comment was made by Stewart, claiming that Blagojevich may have been falsely accused of underhand tactics in picking a replacement US senator recently. Jewell was falsely accused of the Olympic Park bombing in 1996. Many were upset that Stewart didn't challenge Blagojevich more with his questioning.
