Krakauer Piano: Finding Date of manufacture from a serial number

Is there a site which lists dates of manufacture by serial number? We have a lovely Krakauer upright with beautiful sweet tone and a gentle touch and are just curious. I know it is at least 60 years old...

KRAKAUER BROS.
These are the first serial number for the year listed. It won't give you the exact year but will give you a range. Mine for example is 63135 so it was made in the 1940's.

I have a Krakauer Bros, I think made in 1902 fromt the stamp inside. Serial # 28490. Every thing works and sound amazing. Its been in my family for 4 generations and now my son is playing it. Any idea what it might be worth.
