Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 is a high-performance two-door, two-seat sports car that replaces the Murciélago in the Italian automaker's lineup. It was launched at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show on the 1st of March. It features a brand new 6.5 litre V12 engine; Generating 691 hp, designed by Filippo Perini of Lamborghini Centro Stile under the direction of Lamborghini chief of design Manfred Fitzgerald. It reaches 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in only 2.9 seconds. Its top speed is 217 mph (350 km/h). Lamborghini claims that the Aventador is 2 generations ahead of anything else on sale, using Formula One-style suspension and a lightweight Carbon Fibre monocoque. It will be available in about £210,000 in Summer 2011.
