    Their is not much difference in both, The Range Rover is a large luxury four-wheel drive sport utility vehicle produced by British car maker Land Rover. The model, launched in 1970, is now in its third generation.so we can say that the Range Rover is the third generation of Land rover;s first built in the 1970's, and it is used as a brand name on two other models.
   
   Land rover is the second-oldest four-wheel-drive car brand in the world after Jeep, which produce one of the most rugged cars in the world.
   
   Other than range Rovers the land rovers are still produced for military purposes and wildlife protection. The nature of the car best suits the off road environment.
   
   Range rover is a luxury brand produced by Land rover as its premium four wheel drive car, The first generations of the range rovers which crossed the English Channel offroading, Due to which it got the best off roading vehicle award, it combines luxury with off road performance.
