    Apple will be offering the new "Launch Pad" feature as part of its new Lion operating system. Launch Pad will be familiar to iPad users. Engadget describes it as "an iPad layer, basically" and ReadWriteWeb dubs it "basically a homescreen for your Mac."
    The Launch Pad offers pages of apps, as does the iPad, and allows users to create folders for their apps.
