   The romance between Leonardo DiCaprio and Blake Lively fell in love summer. The relationship between the actors ended after nearly 6 months of dating.
   
   It all began in May, when they appeared together in Monte Carlo during the Cannes Film Festival. They were seen very close together on the yacht of Steven Spielberg. DiCaprio had just finished with model Bar Refaeli, who had a relationship for 6 years.
   
   The couple met thanks to director Baz Luhmann, after Blake auditioned for the role of Daisy Buchanan in the remake of " The Great Gatsby " starring DiCaprio. The actress did not get the role, but got a handsome boyfriend for the summer.
   
   On the grounds that the couple separated, 2 versions are handled. On the one hand it is said that the actress was not liked by DiCaprio 's mother, apparently felt very shallow and self-centered. Another version claims that were separated by distance (Leo is filming in Australia) and the complex agendas of both.
   
   Blake says not save any resentment, he says that for her every breakup is a lifetime experience, something we must learn and move on. He is currently back in New York, to continue the recordings of " Gossip Girl".
