A Manhattan district court ruled that LimeWire must immediately disable the searching, uploading, downloading, and file trading of its P2P software and must block the sharing of music files that is being conducted without the permission of the copyright holder. The Recording Industry Association of America obviously sees this as a major victory and the ruling could well lead to other similar services enduring similar cases and defeats in the courts. What do you think is it good or bad overall... Even though Limewire is gone, people are still going to find a way to transfer music freely without having to purchase it. Like when Napster was shut down, people were quick to come up with Limewire. Now what?
