LimeWire Shut Down: Good or bad?

A Manhattan district court ruled that LimeWire must immediately disable the searching, uploading, downloading, and file trading of its P2P software and must block the sharing of music files that is being conducted without the permission of the copyright holder.

The Recording Industry Association of America obviously sees this as a major victory and the ruling could well lead to other similar services enduring similar cases and defeats in the courts.

What do you think is it good or bad overall... Even though Limewire is gone, people are still going to find a way to transfer music freely without having to purchase it. Like when Napster was shut down, people were quick to come up with Limewire.

Now what?

It's certainly good if we think of our favorite singers who're supposed to get royalty out of the song and when it's freely traded they dont get it...... on the other hand shutting down limewire only won't work.... government should have a proper measure for it!
