I am looking for the largest accountancy firms internationally and specifically the names of accounting firms in India. I am a student of B.COM and planning to do Chartered accountancy from India. The largest accountancy and professional services firms are Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, PwC (officially PricewaterhouseCoopers), Ernst & Young and KPMG. Each among the four consists of a network of firms. These are processed and controlled independently and have contract with other member firms to share a common name, brand and quality standards. Previously there were eight firms but Arthur Andersen has reduced the number of major accountancy firms from eight to four.
