Well, there may be a slight difference in job description of a Management Trainee depending upon the industry you’re working in, but basically the major functions will be same.

As a Management Trainee you’ll be performing following duties:

    • • Receiving training and performing duties in coordination with different departments of the organization, like Finance, Sales, Operations and IT etc.

    •
    • • Leaning line and staff functions.

    •
    • • Getting full command over day to day operations, management perspectives and company policies that affect the business.

    •
    • • Setting up your own objectives and conveying them to upper management

You will also be responsible for monitoring your own performances and progress and report it to the management and key trainers, observing experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods and procedures etc. In nut shell, at the end of the training period, you must be transformed into a complete, useful and reliable resource for the organization.
