   Mark Zuckerberg is a computer programmer; he created Facebook with the help of his college students and roommates in Harvard. He is rated as one of the most successful entrepreneurs in America. For his contribution to the internet and social networking, Time magazine has listed him amongst the most influential people of 2008.
   
   Mark Zuckerberg was born in New York and he was brought up in Florida with his parents. Zuckerberg was inclined towards computer programming from the beginning.  He started making communication tools and computer games at an early age, despite the fact that both of his parents were doctors. When he was in high school, he stared programming. His fist success came to his life, when Microsoft and AOL recruited Zuckerberg after purchasing his invention, which was a music player. However, he attended Harvard instead of joining these business giants.
   
   Zuckerberg kept on experimenting with his programming skills and while staying at Harvard he created “coursematch”; the website was a design to give information about other students that were enrolled in the college. To protest against the absence of an image dictionary for college students, Zuckerberg created Facemash.com, which was an image rating site for Harvard students. However, his project remained available just for four hours, after he was caught by university administration. He was charged for violating the computer security and intellectual property rights of the university. Moving along, he created a web portal to facilitate all the students preparing for final exams.  The web portal provided the notes to the students, which become the main mode of studying as the student’s performance excelled using that web portal.
   Zuckerberg left Harvard when he had to move to California to launch Facebook.
