Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream is undoubtedly a comedy and one of the famed authored most popular works. The main instigator of the comedy is Puck, the servant of the Fairy King Oberon. Puck administers at his master's behest a spell to create a powder to be placed on a sleeping person's eyelids. Said concoction makes the victim fall in love with the first thing they see. Hilarity ensues as runaway lovers fall in love with the wrong people. Puck also casts a spell on a man to give him a donkey's head, a man another spellbound character falls in love with.

The work is funny and so far fetched that all involved in the tale are lead to believe that it was all a dream.
