   wow s*x every day for last 5 weeks; you guys must still be in love. going back to  your question, if your period is due today don't worry about it too much; wait for few days and if it does not come then simply do a home pregnancy test. it is normal to think about pregnancy when unprotected s*x takes place; either way you should know it in few days.    Week 3 of a pregnancy is when the fertilized egg is travelling down into the uterus and puts out a hormone that prevents your period. Near the end of the third week then the egg implants itself into the Uterus lining and starts to create the hormone that is picked up by a home pregnancy test. It is better to take the test in the morning time when your hormone levels are at their highest, each day the hormone level will increase drastically. I wish you luck and the best thing I can tell you is patience, I know we all wanna know now but the longer you wait after a missed period the more accurate.
