Question:

My gmail use to show me who all my contacts

One day, my Gmail account was changed, I always seen my letters along with my list of who's online or not, on the left side bar, now I have to type in individual names, I really prefer the old way, its easier and convenient, so please tell me how to get my list on the side, when I sign into Gmail. I'm not the only one, there is two others with the same issue. Thank you for your time, Gordon Hood

The answer is, google switch my account to google.ca so I typed in the search bar, google.com scrolled down to Gmail, clicked on it, google.com opened gmail, when chat loaded, click on the + plus sign beside chat, and it came back. In a nutshell, google.ca doesn't work the same as google.com, I spent hours trying to find the solution, so many detours, reading blogs, etc...this worked for me. Hope it helps any others experiencing the same issues.
