My proview flat screen tv only shows a black screen when plugged in. How do I fix it?

I have a proview flat screen tv. I recently plugged my toshiba computer into the TV and the entire tv screen went blank. I unplugged the tv from the computer and wall and when I plugged it back into the wall it only shows a black screen. The light on the front of the tv that normally is orange for standby mode or blue for when the tv is on, is now just a clear light. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
