My rabbit is really sick and I don’t know what to do; should I feed him the normal daily feed or should he be eating something totally different when sick?  This is my first pet and now I feel how the pet lovers around the world feel; everyone around me thinks I’m over exaggerating but I know what I’m going through.

What do rabbits eat when they are sick?

Feed him the normal foods: Okay rabbit can eat many things here is a list:

I just wanted to stat, That CABBAGE IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO FEED! Most people have said it is but its not,or lettuce. There are many more greens/veg/fruit you can feed a bunny listed below:

    Greens, plants; Dandelion

Apple leaves, pear leaves,NOT plum as this IS poisonous to bunnies,

    Raspberry leaves,willow leaves,ash leaves,Bramble,strawberry leaves,Chickweed,Comfry,Shepherds purse,Grasses,hawthorn leaves,

Well basically what a horse can eat!!

Fruits/veg: Swedes, carrots, apples(Not the seeds as these are poisonous to bunnies),green peppers,strawberries,melons,tomatoes,cuc... the pits though)Some berries, bananas, pineapple(great for wool block),

That is not right. Most lettuce is fine, like romaine, but iceberg lettuce is not. If your rabbit is very, very, VERY sick and is unable to move, try wetting food pellets and putting them in the microwave until they fluff up. Put it in a syringe and slowly feed it to your bunny, VERRRY slowly, as not to make him/her choke. For water, syringe feed with a 1 mL syringe, 20 mL or so at a time, through the side of your rabbit's mouth.
Feed him or her what he'd/she'd normally eat, just offer it to her now and again. Also, check up with the vet to see if you've been feeding your rabbit the right portions, my bunny got sick and turns out I wasn't feeding her enough greens. Vet bills can be pretty pricy, so maybe just call the vet over the phone to make sure your bunny isn't eating what they shouldn't.
Leave your sick bunny to be and they'll be happy and healthy again soon!
