   Few famous places to visit in Honduras are given below:
   
   • Bay Islands: In the Bay Islands (Roatan, Utila, or Guanaja) many spectacular views of the richest blue waters are available.  The Bay Islands boast of the second largest barrier reef in the world.  One view of these azure waters briefly tells you the reason that why divers and snorkelers came here from all around the world and find their way to the Bay Islands.
   
   • Roatan: Here visitors can visit the shops along the beach of West End, stopping every 100 feet for a soda, a Salva Vida or a coffee.  Travel Rudy’s for a smoothie and a chat with the most hospitable man on the island. For your trip you can hire a water taxi to West Bay.
   
   • Copan Ruinas: it is often called by tourists as just "Copan," which is actually the name of the department, not the town; the Honduras trip would be complete without a stop at the ruins.  Current projects under the management of the Copan Maya Foundation are listed San Pedro Sula.
   
   • Museum of Anthropology and History: A visit to the Museum of Anthropology and History is worth.  The double story museum is very interesting place to visit.  Arranged as an inviting series of displays, visitors can walk through the history of the San Pedro Sula valley, the arrival of the Spaniards, the conquest, and the interplay of the Spanish and Indigenous cultures.  Most of the displays have English placards that make the time pleasant which traveler spent here.
   
   • Road between San Pedro Sula and Tela/La Ceiba: This leg of the vacation is marvelous just for the miles and miles of bananas, cacao, corn, beans, sugar cane, pineapples, citrus and African palms.
