I am a huge fan of mercedes SL’s, I have owned an SL500 for more than a year, now I am planning to get something new, that’s why I wanted an insight on the new SL.

The new 2013 Mercedes-Benz SL isn't expecting to debut for another two months at the Detroit Auto show, SL stands for Sport light, but the previous models have been nothing like a light sports car with carbon fibre bits in it instead it was more like a Drop top grand tourer loaded with luxury and leather. But for 2013 Mercedes-Benz is attempting to bring the SL with a body omprising of 90 percent aluminum. Only the A pillars and roof crossmember will be using high-strength steel for rollover protection, lighter body panels and the chassis will be 243 pounds lighter than the current model, Mercedes claims the new SL will be 30 more fuel efficient.
