OKI c3400n Installation on Mac OS 10.6.4

I have installed the latest drivers from OKI and in the Print & Fax window --> Add Printer --> More Printers window, It recognizes the printer, connected via USB but displays 'unsupported printer' in the same area and will not allow me to add it.

     I have had the very same issue with the exception that my iMac(OS 10.6) cannot recognize the proper C3400 driver that I have installed from the OKI site.


    I can select other OKI drivers(tried them and get error mssgs on printer) but no C3400?


    There is not even an option for a Generic driver??
