Obama the most powerful man in the world shuts down American Idol, can you imagine the action of the leader of the free world forces fox the owner of american idol to shut down the show for the its usual tuesday night airing.  Obama is still as popular as he was before the election; the people of america would prefer to listen to obama's speech than to watch American Idol which is now shifted to Wednesday night.

    Show is just being shutdown for one night. President Obama’s upcoming Tuesday night news conference, the second since he took office, is forcing Fox to move American Idol from its usual berth to Wednesday night instead. The elimination episode will air on Thursday.

    Idol host Ryan Seacrest made the announcement on Wednesday’s show, where Alexis Grace got kicked out.
