Ongoing rash after mmr & TDap Vaccination?

My 19 month old son got his mmr & Tdap vaccination 6 weeks ago and broke out in a very scary looking rash erythema multiforme.  It did clear up after about a week or so.  After that seemed better he had some smaller bumps on chest & back, I didn't worry too much because he looked so much better than before.  Now I am concerned because these bumps have not gone away completely they seem to come and go every couple of days and can change in size and shape by the hour.  Dr was in agreement with me that the rash was caused from the vaccination but had not seen a case like ours in 8 yrs.  Now he thinks he should be allergy tested. I know this is caused by the vacc.  not a food allergy.  Has anyone heard of anything like this?

The same exact thing is happening to my 19 month old son right now. We are only 3 weeks into it. Please update on your son.

my son has had the rash fade and get worse again for 4 weeks. The pediatrician has retracted the cause as mmr and now believes it is an allergy. it is obvious to me that it's from the mmr as it happened the week after with a fever too. it's very frustrating. I will be seeing a derm. soon. Please respond as to how your son is doing now.
