Places to visit in Egypt

I am a British journalist assigned to Egypt and while I stay there I hope to know places in Egypt to visit that are not what the media always speaks of. Speaking of Egypt I heard that the situation in there was either impoverished or too expensive. So to make my stay eventful i would like help on knowing some of the best places to visit in Egypt.

    more unique and clean places to live in Egypt are The Andalusian Gardens in Cairo, The Area of Al-Alamein, The Bahariya Oasis, Basata beach, Sharm el-Sheikh , luxor, and Alexandria are all grat locations for a tourist
