Pregnant lady travel till the actual delivery with an escort from Air India?

Can someone tell me that if pregnant lady can travel till the actual delivery with an escort from Air India? I do not know about policy of Air India for a pregnant lady to fly on Air India. Any help?

    Yes. However, this can be done only on the authority of the Chief Medical Officer – Air India and the passenger must be accompanied by a physician and an indemnity bond must be signed.  This is normally facilitated in case of urgent/compassionate cases only from Air India.
