Normally any paper that has crumpling, S shaped, or accordion looking, would point to the machines fuser section. Check the fuser, cassete trays and paper paths for any small pieces of paper that may be stuck or wedged. Also you may have small broken parts that can easily go unseen without proper inspection with a flashlight. But typically the fuser section will cause noises when jammed up or if the gears are worn.
