I have a Samsung SyncMaster 400p monitor. It's been used everyday for over 3 years. Over the last few weeks, when I power on the monitor, the screen flickers for 10 - 20 seconds, and then the image appears normal. last night while I was watching a movie, the screen flickered upon powering up, then it was fine, and about an hour later, the screen flickered and disappeared. Now when I power on the monitor, no matter what source I'm using, it stays on for about 20 seconds , then it goes black. Is this an issue that can be repaired?

there are two 'resivour caps on the power supply, if the metal has expanded then that is your problem, replace both of them, it does not mater if the replacement one are slitly more in both microF or voltage
