    Hi,
As you are aware, glazes are a chemical mixture of raw materials, when fired to their maturing temperature interact with each other creating changes in the chemical structure and characteristic of the materials. Because the original glaze will still be on the tile, the addition of a new glaze will probably not give you the same results for the new glaze as it would if you fired the new glaze on bare bisque. You also have the unfortionate task of trying to scratch the surface of detailed pieces.

I have several suggestions for you. Please read each one with intensity before proceeding with any one if your pieces, especially if it is something that you do not want to loose should any of the following fail.

Suggestion One: Applying a new glaze

First, use a glaze which is compatible with the glaze you originally used. i.e., use a matt glaze which fires to Cone 6.

Next, use sand paper to lightly scratch the original glaze. This will assure adhesion of the new glaze and since you have a gloss glaze over the underglaze, you will need to spend some time on this.

Apply the new glaze and fire.
