    First, make sure the dryer is unplugged. Dryers have extremely sharp edges, so be careful.

    Remove the lint screen. There should be 2 screws holding the lint screen chute to the top panel, remove the screws. Next, click on this link to see the breakdown diagram of the front of the dryer: http://tinyurl.com/3amkay -- look at number 50, there are two of them, one on each side. Insert a putty knife or something similar in between the top and the front panels right where one of the clips is. This will release the clip. Do the same on the other side. Now you can lift the top panel (don't remove it, just lift it at about a 30-45 degree angle). The front panel is held to the side panels with a couple of screws (look at #2 on the diagram). Remove the screws. That's about it. Lift the front panel up and away from the dryer. There are springs at the bottom that might come off. Put them back on at the same time as the cables (straps?).
