The Movie Rio is an American 3D computer-animated musical comedy film by the creator of the Ice Berg, released on April, 2011. It was produced by Blue Sky Studios and its director is Carlos Saldanha. The name of the film is taken from Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro. Jemaine Clement, Anne Hathaway, George Lopez, Jesse Eisenberg, and Jake T. Austin are the featuring voices of the film.

The story of the film revolves around the Blu (Eisenberg), a blue macaw who is unable to fly and only of its kind, brought to the beautiful city of Rio de Janeiro for mating him with a female. Both two are the last remaining species of macaw.  He eventually falls in love with Jewel (Hathaway and they got the chance to escape together from being smuggled by Nigel (Clement), a cockatoo.

No doubt, Rio is very entertaining animated film for both the young and old with glowing visuals, lively characters and energetic Samba music along with the introduction of us the attractive and charming city of Rio de Janeiro.
