   Midnight in Paris is a romantic comedy of 2011 about a family that visits Paris for business. Woody Allen is the director and writer of the film. It was first released at the Cannes Film Festival on May, 2011.  A Spanish group Mediapro and Allen's Gravier Productions are the producers of the film. Midnight in Paris main stars are Marion Cotillard, Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Carla Bruni, Kathy Bates and Adrien Brody.  
   
   The film is about a family including a young couple Gil and his fiancée, Inez, who are in Paris to spend a vacation with family and friends. Gil is a flourishing but dissatisfied screenwriter of Hollywood, now working on his first novel while others including Inez are very humiliating both to Gil and his idea to write a novel. During a walk at night, Gil enters in the car of some friendly strangers. Soon he Gil soon finds that he has been moved to the 1920s, an era he venerates for his novel. While there, he meets and interacts with renowned literary persons and artists who give him very useful tips for his novel and his personal life. Finally, he observes that desiring for a "past of golden time" is a returning idea of coming back of any age.
